It is our very tendency to become distracted by small concerns, to become absorbed in the trivial. A Rule that helps us to stay centered, focused on the Creator of life, brings perspective and clarity to that life. How freeing it would be if we felt ourselves at all times to be in God's presence, and what a difference such a sense of that accompanying Presence would make.
